Owner/President

Brief info

Most of Ron’s leadership skills were acquired in his military service. Ron joined the Army to see the world, and see the world he has done, traveling to 27 countries in his lifetime. He spent time in Alaska then busy years in 5th special forces group, 10 yrs total. Military contracting in Iraq for 3 yrs and over 2 yrs running cranes for Sparrows/Chevron.

He has worn many hats in his professional career that has given him the knowledge and fortitude to now be the owner and operator of RLB Construction. His career in roofing started after a buddy he worked with in Iraq convinced him in 2016 that a career in roofing sales at Birdcreek Roofing was a wise choice. That was an understatement. He found his calling in helping people with restoring their lives and their homes.
Ron is a team leader whose employees find it easy to stand behind and beside. It says a lot when 100 percent of the Birdcreek Roofing team gladly transitioned with him to RLB Construction. The transition has been smooth and amicable for all.

Opening his first franchise in Shreveport, La. for Birdcreek Roofing in January of 2019 then shortly afterward in August of 2019 he opened the Lafayette office. Since opening his Louisiana franchises he and his team have restored the lives of over 540 Louisiana homeowners.

Changes in the landscape of the insurance market paved the way for the birth of RLB Construction. Ron & his team have worked during 8 natural disasters. The RLB team's commitment to the homeowners of Louisiana is unparalleled.

According to Ron, after all his worldly travels, returning to his birthplace of Abbeville, La. has been a HUGE blessing. He is proud to be the father of one daughter and 2 bonus sons and 2 bonus daughters. His 5 children have made him a granddad to 11 grandchildren.

Being a head coach to a team of 8 does not leave much personal time, but when Ron finds some time...you'lll find him cooking/entertaining friends, traveling and relaxing watching Louisiana football (LSU, UL, & the Saints)
